Powder can be used on following technologies
Double dot coating:
Double dot coating is now one of the most advanced technologies in thermoplastic adhesive coatings. It includes paste dot followed by scatter coating.
The scatter coating powder (known as top dot) will adhere to the paste dot (known as base dot) and any powder that is still between the paste dots will be absorbed by a vacuum section.
Both layers are then subjected to a hybrid oven(*) that will combine both coatings in one Double dot coating.
There are a lot of advantages in terms of quality when the double dot coating uses the Dakota Coatings concept.
(*) Hybrid oven: combined hot air and infrared oven.
Dakota Coatings Concept for Double dot coating:
Base dot coating (Polyurethane 4529)
Top dot coating (Copolyamide Unex Pa T15)
